There are a few constants in this world.
Death. Taxes. Gravity. Logistics Winning Wars.
Make sure everyone knows exactly where you stand when someone comes up to you and asks, "Hey... how come we don't have this item we ordered yet?"
Just point to the mug and smile. They'll get the point.
*We recommend that you keep 14 ounces of coffee in this at all times. Wash carefully with more coffee.
I own several coffee mugs. Two of them date back to the early 1960s, when neighbors returned from Red Wing, Minnesota, with the signature, brown coffee mugs as gifts. Those mugs must be over 60 years old, and I have managed to move them from home to home—without a single crack or chip—over a dozen moves since my college days.
And I have purchased numerous coffee mugs over the years, many of which were donated to non-profits, unless I broke them during the moves. Currently, I have 13 coffee mugs on my desk or office shelves, primarily for display purposes. Three of them serve as pencil holders, and many of them bear the logo of my employers over the last 30 or 40 years. (I don’t drink from them; they are part of my work history.)
A few weeks ago, however, my coffee mug collection received a significant upgrade.
I purchased a 6-Keurig sampler pack from Aerial Resupply Coffee, and the site suggested that my coffee would probably taste better in the “Terminal Patriotism” mug. Or I imagined it; I’m not sure.
The package arrived quickly. The K-Cups were contained in a sturdy, clear bag with a light brown sticker denoting its contents. The cup was wrapped in thick paper to prevent damage during handling. I was eager to brew my first cup, but realized that the only K-Cup machine available was at the office.
A week later, I have brewed four of the six samples, and all of them have been great. I don’t know yet if I have a favorite. But the coffee cup? It has a new place on my desk where it proudly states that I am an American patriot, and the condition is terminal. Another thing? It fits my hand like no other mug in my office. I love it!
My husband loved it!
I normally drink Japanese Sencha tea and decided to give gunpowder a try. What a marvelous Tea! I brewed at the low end of the recommendation - 1 tsp/8oz and it turned out great. I look forward to trying the higher end of the guide and see the difference. Will certainly be ordering more!
Really like the Blanks Dark Pods and would like to thank my son for recommending it. Lots of flavor for decaf.
