The One You Drink Every Day.
Balanced enough for the whole pot. Strong enough to be worth getting up for.
What medium roast drinkers say
The Firewatch coffee is much smoother and less bitter than the Moose coffee. My wife likes the Firewatch much more
Bought this on a whim because my Son is nicknamed moose and truth be told its delicious! Smooth and rich with a really solid flavor profile.
Fire Watch is the perfect blend for me. It is smooth and flavorful. Thanks so much Mike!
This roast is great when you are on your last breath of exhaustion. Wakes you up so you can finish the mission at hand. Thanks Mike!
This was my first order and I picked out Fire Watch and 15W40 from the favorites, then saw the Moose profile and threw 2 in the cart. Amazing smell and so flavorful. We've tried other brands and always go back to warehouse brand 3lb acidic coffee because it doesn't stand out enough to pay for...
My first time trying a medium roast coffee. Taste was different but caffeine was spot on!
This coffee is true to description. The smell of great expectations for a reliable go to good cup of coffee- and then you actually get that! What an amazing concept big coffee companies have forgotten.
I tried this coffee for the first time because I enjoy supporting small, veteran owned businesses. This coffee did not disappoint! I am a full-fledged convert and will be buying Aerial Resupply Coffee from here on out!
Love the ARC FireWatch Medium Roast K-Cups...14 oz serving in the morning gets me started!
What Medium Roast Actually Is
Medium roast sits in the middle of the roast curve, pulled after first crack and before the oils come to the surface. It is the balance point between the bean's own character and the flavor the roast adds.
That is why it is the roast most people land on and stay on. You get body without ash, sweetness without sharpness, and a cup that does not fight you at six in the morning.
It is also the most forgiving coffee in the house. Drip, pour-over, French press, cold brew, a pod in a machine at work. Medium roast survives all of it, which is not true of the roasts on either side of it.
Fire Watch is our Colombian and the one we sell the most of. Moose is a touch rounder. MOAB is the exception in this collection, a medium roast built double-caffeinated for people who need the cup to do more than taste good.

Most people who land on a medium roast end up on a subscription because it is the bag they reach for every morning. Start with one and decide.
Medium Roast, Answered
Time in the roaster. Dark goes longer, which pushes the oils to the surface, flattens the origin flavor, and trades brightness for body and smoke. Medium stops short of that, so you still taste where the coffee came from. Medium is the everyday cup. Dark is the one you reach for when you want it heavy.
Medium, almost always. It is the widest target. If you find it too heavy or too flat you can move light, and if you want more weight you can move dark, but very few people bounce off a medium roast.
No, and the gap runs the other way if anything. Roasting burns off a small amount of caffeine, so by weight a lighter roast holds marginally more. The differences are small enough that how you brew matters far more than which roast you bought.
MOAB is a medium roast blended to be double-caffeinated. It tastes like a medium roast and hits like something else. If you want the flavor without the extra load, Fire Watch is the same neighborhood at normal strength.
It works, and it pulls sweeter and brighter than a dark roast will. If you want the classic heavy, chocolatey shot, our Spectre in the dark roast collection is built for it.
Whole bean if you grind at home, ground if you would rather scoop and brew. Same coffee either way, chosen at checkout.
