Why is a coffee company selling hard cases?
Because our whole business is getting something from where it is made to where it is needed, in one piece. A resupply that shows up broken, soaked, or scattered is not a resupply. It is a loss with a tracking number.
That is the same reason we started carrying AeroPress. We look for the tool that protects the thing you care about, and if somebody already builds it better than we could, we sell theirs instead of stamping our logo on a worse one.
Condition 1 builds that tool for gear. So we became a dealer.
What makes a Condition 1 case worth the money?
It is built for the bad day, not the good one. Every case we carry shares the same core build, and the specs are the kind you can check.
| What it has | What it does for you |
|---|---|
| IP67 rating | Dust stays out, and a dunk in about 3 feet of water stays on the outside. |
| CN-1 resin shell, made in Sherman, Texas | Takes the drops, stacks, and baggage handlers that kill a soft bag. |
| Automatic pressure valve | Airline friendly. The lid still opens after a flight or a drive up a mountain. |
| Patented latches and steel pin hinge | The parts that usually fail first on a cheap case. |
| Lockable, TSA compliant, stackable | Lock it for travel, stack it in the truck bed or the closet. |
| Lifetime warranty from Condition 1 | You buy it once. |
Which Condition 1 case should you get?
Pick based on what goes inside and how it travels. Small and loose gear goes in the 11 inch. Cameras and optics go in the 16 inch. If it flies with you, get the 22 inch carry-on.
| Case | Interior | Weight | Set up for | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #184 11" Small Waterproof | 9.29" x 7.23" x 4.13" | 2.8 lbs | Pluckable foam. Keys, batteries, first aid, small tools. | $69.99 |
| #179 16" Waterproof Camera | 14.61" x 10.46" x 6.01" | 5.0 lbs | Padded dividers plus lid organizer. A camera body and a few lenses, optics, electronics. | $189.99 |
| #300 22" Carry-On Camera | 19.66" x 11.18" x 7.5" | 12.4 lbs | Wheels, telescoping handle, padded dividers, lid organizer. A full camera or drone kit that flies with you. | $319.99 |
We started with a small first order, so stock is thin. If one of these is the case you have been putting off buying, this is the part where you stop putting it off.
Condition 1 #184 11" Small Waterproof Case
What we sell. An 11 inch IP67 case with two layers of pluckable cubed foam and egg crate foam in the lid, plus padlock holes. Red or Ranger Green.
Why it helps you. The small stuff is the stuff that goes missing. Pull cubes until it fits what you carry, and it stays put. Pick Red if you want it found fast, Ranger Green if you do not.
How to buy. $69.99, one time purchase, ships from Charlottesville with the rest of your order.

What we sell. A 16 inch IP67 case with a padded divider set, one main spine with movable dividers, a lid organizer, and a rubberized handle. 918 cubic inches inside.
Why it helps you. Not everything needs wheels. Some things just need to stay dry, stay organized, and stay in one piece, and this one does it at 5 pounds.
How to buy. $189.99, one time purchase, ships from Charlottesville.
Shop the #179 →Condition 1 #300 22" Carry-On Camera Case
What we sell. A 22 inch rolling case Condition 1 builds to fit the overhead compartment. Padded divider set with two main spines, lid organizer, off-road wheels, and a handle that extends an extra 16 inches.

How to buy. $319.99, one time purchase, ships from Charlottesville.
Shop the #300 →What are the ARC coffee kits?
A Condition 1 case with ARC coffee packed inside, set up to be used, not just stored. The idea is simple: protect what matters most, and bring the coffee with it.
The details are still on the workbench. We would rather get one kit right than rush out five, so each one gets announced when it is ready and not before.
When they land, they show up in the Cases collection first.
A case keeps the gear safe. The coffee is still on you.
What we sell. Small batch coffee, roasted in Charlottesville. Seven core roasts, whole bean or ground, plus K-Cups. Fire Watch, our Colombian medium, is where most people start.
Why it helps you. One less thing to run out of. Set it to resupply on your schedule and it shows up before the bag hits zero.
How to buy. Subscriptions take 30% off the first order automatically, no code. One time orders take 15% with WELCOME15.
See the lineup →Questions people actually ask
Are Condition 1 cases waterproof?
Yes. Every case we carry is IP67 rated, which means it is sealed against dust and survives being submerged in about 3 feet of water. Rain, a boat deck, or a truck bed in a storm stays on the outside.
Can you fly with a Condition 1 case?
Yes. Each case has an automatic pressure valve so the lid opens normally after a flight, and the latches are lockable and TSA compliant. Condition 1 builds the #300 to fit the overhead compartment. Check your airline's carry-on limits before you go.
Where are Condition 1 cases made?
Sherman, Texas. The shells are molded from Condition 1's CN-1 resin, with patented latches and a steel pin hinge.
What warranty comes with a Condition 1 case?
Condition 1 backs its cases with a lifetime warranty. Buying from ARC does not change that, because we sell the same case Condition 1 builds.
When will the ARC coffee kits be available?
When they are right. We are building them now, and each kit will be announced when it is ready. They will show up in our Cases collection first.
Why does a coffee roaster sell hard cases?
Because resupply is the job. Getting something to the person who needs it, intact and ready to use, is the whole point of the company name. Condition 1 already builds the best version of that for gear, so we sell theirs.
