I needed another crew-neck sweatshirt for the coming autumn weather in the Southern California desert. This one, in a light-olive/green color, fit the bill nicely. Now if the weather would ever cool off, I could enjoy the soft inner lining and brag about my favorite coffee source every time I venture into town.
A great tea with a great body and flavor. A go to tea for any time of the day! This is in my top 3 favorite tea’s
My bag of JTAC arrived with the mail the other day. My wife handed me the package and I was very excited.
She asked me, "What is it?"
"Coffee beans," I reply, "I ordered some coffee beans."
I opened the package with my pocket knife and removed the bag of beans. A bag inside of a bag. The second bag had a pull-tab, unlike the first. No pocket knife needed. I pulled the tab and immediately buried myself face deep in the opening in an effort to absorb the caffeine purely through inhalation. It didn't work but it smelled great and was worth the attempt.
I reached into the bag and grabbed a handful of beans. My wife stared at me.
"What are you doing?" she asked with a tone of urgency.
"Inspecting," was my single word response.
I slammed the small fistful of beans into my mouth. She looks on, unable to speak. I begin chewing.
The texture was pleasant. Not overly roasted and chalky, or under roasted and spongey. The flavor was well balanced: nutty and floral with a slight acidity and citrusy sweetness. There was also a distinct lack of bitterness, but my wife had that covered.
"What the hell are you doing?" she half asked and half yelled? "What is wrong with you? Are you a psycho?"
"Maybe. Jury's still out."
She stared at me, shaking her head as I secured another fistful of beans. She walked away, shutting the bedroom door behind her.
It seems I'll need to buy another bag to see how it tastes when it's actually brewed.
Highly recommend.
Great coffee, prompt delivery and great customer care from Mike and his team. Keep fighting the good fight!
